Free Years 5–6 Science practice — read data, draw cautious conclusions and report findings. No account needed.
Read supplied results, identify patterns and anomalies, and choose conclusions and presentations that match the evidence. The default practice mode is untimed, so the learner can think before choosing. Correct answers build a gentle celebration; mistakes receive corrective feedback and return later rather than causing a penalty spiral.
Learning objective: Report supplied findings with units, conditions, uncertainty and an evidence-bounded conclusion.
Curriculum anchor: England upper KS2 working scientifically: record, report and present findings, conclusions, relationships and trust in results.
This game is designed as short independent practice after an idea has been introduced. It does not replace direct teaching, mathematical or scientific discussion, or an adult checking whether the learner can explain the idea away from the screen.
Ask which exact numbers support the conclusion and what the test still cannot show. Stop while attention is still good. A short accurate return tomorrow is more useful than extending a tired session today.
Does it need an account? No. The game runs in the browser and asks for no name, email address, school or location.
Is it timed? Practice is untimed. Where a sprint exists it is optional. Times Tables Sprint also includes MTC-style independent practice, not an expected-standard judgement.
Can it be used on a phone? Yes. Buttons support touch and keyboard use; sorting always has a tap alternative to dragging.
