Corrections and updates
TheLearnDen aims to describe and match learning resources accurately. External pages can change, links can break and our own wording can need correction. Reports help the Editorial Team review the evidence and put the public page right.
What to report
- A link that is broken, unavailable or redirects somewhere unexpected.
- A resource that is not relevant, is too easy or difficult, or is described inaccurately.
- An unexpected login, payment request or access restriction.
- Material that appears inappropriate, unsafe, misleading or asks a child for personal information.
- Factual guidance or a visible checked date that is no longer current.
How to report a problem
On a resource card, choose Needs improvement, select the closest reason and send it privately for review. You may also suggest a better free resource. For a correction elsewhere on the site, use the editorial contact page.
Do not include a child’s name, school, contact details or other identifying information. If a linked resource may be unsafe, close it and follow the safeguarding guidance.
What happens next
The report enters a private review queue. We check the current public page and the underlying learning context, then verify the concern against the source itself. A confirmed problem may lead to corrected wording, a replacement or removed link, an updated review state, or a wider source check. Suggestions and automated candidates are never published without manual review and explicit deployment approval.
Editorial review targets
- Safeguarding or inappropriate content: same day and highest priority.
- Confirmed outage or widespread broken source: one working day.
- Broken link or strong negative feedback: three working days.
- Suggested alternative resource: seven working days.
- Routine rotating sample: within the next weekly review cycle.
Publishing a correction
Confirmed changes are made in the authoritative source, regenerated into affected pages and checked by the normal validation gates. Production still requires the exact approved release candidate. Where a guide carries a visible checked or updated date, a factual correction refreshes that date.
