Free KS2 learning tools
Short, free browser-based tools for KS2 English and maths. Use them with a whole class on a whiteboard, with a small group, or with one child at the kitchen table.

Free KS2 Revision Guide
Use a calm 15-minute routine and direct Year 3 to Year 6 subject routes.
A fifteen-minute sentence routine that works
- Say it. The sentence is rehearsed in full before anything is written — aloud where appropriate, or in the child's usual way of communicating. It is the easiest step to skip and it earns its place.
- Write it. Mini-whiteboards work well here — many children take more risks when the writing is easy to rub out.
- Check it. Three things only: does it make sense, does it start with a capital letter, does it end with the right mark. Score out of three.
- Swap. Checking someone else's sentence against the same three criteria gives children another chance to apply them.
