It offers partial support for topics 2238, 2239, 3217 and 3219, with the pronunciation model made explicit. It does not assess sound-only phonological awareness, independent spoken blending or segmentation, decoding, pronunciation, oral fluency, spelling production, handwriting or complete phonics mastery. Adults may model the examples using the learner’s phonics programme and regional pronunciation. Stop while attention is still good. A short accurate return tomorrow is more useful than extending a tired session today.
Does it need an account? No. The game runs in the browser and asks for no name, email address, school or location.
Is it timed? Practice is untimed. Where a sprint exists it is optional. Times Tables Sprint also includes MTC-style independent practice, not an expected-standard judgement.
