Year 4 half-term roadmap
A one-page A4 printable that shows what Year 4 children (ages 8–9, KS2) cover in the first half of the autumn term, in maths, English and science. It is built from the same England national curriculum dataset that powers this site's Year 4 pages and planner.

Who it's for
Parents, carers and kinship carers who want a calm answer to "what should my child be learning right now?" — whether the child is at school or learning at home. It works well on the fridge door or inside a homework folder.
What's inside
- Three columns — maths, English and science — each listing the five topics this half-term usually leads with.
- A short "how to use this" note: pick one topic your child is unsure about and search it, rather than re-teaching a whole subject.
- A common class read for the half-term, where one is well established.
- A "one small win a week" grid — six weeks, one topic and one tick box each.
- A QR code and link to thelearnden.com/year-4/, where every topic links to free checked videos, worksheets and practice.
Print tips
- A4, portrait, one page.
- Print at 100% ("actual size", not "fit to page") so the QR code stays crisp and scannable.
- Colour looks best, but it reads fine in black and white.
